10 Tips for Surviving Mercury Retrograde

Mercury Retrograde is one of those times when you need to hang on for dear life because the universe may sometimes take you on a wild ride. If only surviving Mercury Retrograde was as easy as hanging on with both hands as the roller coaster tumbles back down after reaching the top, we wouldn’t have to be so vigilant.

But alas, it’s not that easy. Mercury Retrograde is no day at the fair and for most people it’s not a fun ride. So I have come up with some steps you need to take just before, during and after to make surviving Mercury Retrograde unscathed a little bit easier.

1. Believe it or not, your best friends or family can turn into your worst enemy. This happens because during Mercury Retrograde their thinking is clouded. IGNORE them when you feel the storm clouds building! As soon as Mercury goes forward I assure you they will come around again.

2.Do not sign any contracts and make sure you never start a job or a relationship at this time.

3. Back up all your data on your computers as it just may crash. Any other electrical equipment you have may do the same. Fortunately many of these mysteriously come good when Mercury goes forward again.

4. Do not buy any electrical equipment during Mercury Retrograde as it’s more than likely you will need to return it because it is faulty.

5. Take things with a grain of salt. Everyone is a bit confused and people are more often than not inclined to change their minds once Mercury is not in retrograde any more.

6. Don’t put too much faith in the headlines at this time. What they say now may have no relevance once Mercury goes forward.

7. Read the fine print of any contract and know the ins and outs of it. Problems may come in the form of a small clause and haunt you later on when Mercury goes forward.

8. Old friends or lovers may reappear. Reminisce and enjoy but don’t put too much faith in them hanging around once Mercury is on track again.

9. When travelling at this time check and recheck everything related to your journey or any event you may be travelling to, as Mercury is a trickster and may throw a huge and very unwelcome and unexpected curve ball in all your plans.

10. Take this time to reflect and plan what you want to do next once you don’t have to worry any longer about surviving Mercury Retrograde.
